What we have been up to during lockdown

During Lockdown it is easy for one to get frustrated if one is not active and meaningfully engaged.

Our caregivers have been busy with all sorts of activities with our residents - from car washing to building puzzles and even using the benefits of the on premises gymnasium.

Activities and new skills are not limited to the ladies only; new skills are being learned by the men.

Band practice is happening as usual. Some are brushing up on old skills whilst others are learning new skills

Whilst all of this is going on comfort food is keeping everyone happy. As the weather is becoming increasingly nippy, the ladies in the kitchen have been treating residents with all sorts of traditional foods such as bobotie, worsrolls and vetkoek. Yummy.

It is indeed strange times and some are embracing the new Corona fashion look on the farm whilst others are not too keen on the new look.
