Aaah one of my fondest childhood memories is of being in my grandmother’s hot kitchen, with the smell of freshly baked vanilla biscuits and ginger beer lingering in the air, and when she baked “mosbolletjies” with aniseed. Christmas smells like this to me. We’re not fortunate to have snow in December so we don’t do eggnog, allspice and mistletoe.
Cluny Farm is supported by Lebogang Malinga from Dischem Foundation in mentoring Cluny farm so that it can have a profitable organic garden for nutrition on the farm as well as to sell the surplus to public.
Cluny has a tagline -helping people grow- much like a flower the soil for growth needs to be prepared for planting seeds; it also needs the right sunlight, water and nutrients to thrive.
Our new GM, Sharon Theron, introduces herself, her passion for Cluny Farm, and her vision for its future:
South Africa commemorates National Disability Rights Awareness Month annually between 3 November and 3 December.
